Othavio Henrico
Mid-Level Flutter Developer
"With seven years of experience in technology, expertise in Flutter, and a solid foundation in web, backend, and SRE, I have established myself as a Mobile Specialist focused on Flutter. I hold a Technical Diploma in IT (ETEC) and am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science (IFSC). I work as a Flutter specialist, serving as the technical authority for scalable architecture decisions, code structuring, testing tool selection, and advanced integration with native code (Kotlin and Swift) for performance optimization. Beyond development, I am deeply involved in technical leadership and mentoring. I excel at guiding teams through complex challenges and recently led a 48-hour Flutter bootcamp, where I trained new talent for the job market. My track record includes delivering high-impact projects, ranging from robust mental health apps for veterans with native integrations to the software powering Cinemark's self-service kiosks. In addition to my corporate experience, I work as a freelancer and develop my own projects, constantly challenging myself and staying up-to-date to achieve my ultimate goal: leaving my mark on the world through my creations :)"
Career

UEEK Agência Digital
Mid-Level Flutter Developer
I developed systems exclusively using Flutter, serving as the technical lead for the mobile division. I was responsible for defining project architecture, managing GitHub repositories, structuring and documenting CI/CD pipelines, and establishing new testing processes and continuous improvement initiatives. I also led team development—training new members and implementing coding best practices—conducted code reviews, and managed app publishing and maintenance on the Google Play Store and App Store. I played a key role in the evolution and scalability of the ValorNet project, a white-label mental health mobile app for army veterans. I implemented complex features, including smartwatch integration (health and exercise data), group audio and video calls, push notifications (Firebase), and VoIP (APNs). I also developed native code (Swift, Kotlin) to handle background calls, local storage, and live streaming systems. In this project, I solidified my technical leadership by mentoring developers, proposing solutions, and managing automated deployment workflows. Daily interaction with clients and international team members also enhanced my technical and formal English communication skills. I also worked on the Fito Agrícola project, focusing on layout improvements and bug fixes for an app built using a layered architecture, Riverpod for state management, and OpenStreetView map integration. Additionally, at UEEK, I served as an instructor and mentor for the “UEEK Connect” Bootcamp, introducing the Flutter ecosystem to beginner developers. Over the course of a month, we built a mobile travel log app from scratch using Clean Architecture, Riverpod, Supabase as the backend, and OpenStreetView map integration.

Tokenlab Digital Solutions
Web Developer Intern
At Tokenlab, I developed some projects using technologies and concepts such as Flutter Web, Angular, HTML, CSS, SASS, DDD (Domain Driven Design), Docker, BLoC, Design Patterns and Responsive Designs. I've also used Jira extensively for team management, as well as Figma, Bitbucket, and SCRUM and Kanban. To improve my knowledge, I also took some training from the company that showed some new technologies such as Cloud Formations and AWS, but also training to improve my skills with Node.js. Projects I participated in: Cinemark ATM 3.0 - August/2021 - May/2022 Cinemark ATM 3.0 was one of the best projects I've ever participated in, where I developed several screens and functionalities for Cinemark ATM 3.0, a self-service machine where customers can purchase Cinemark products directly through the software. For development, Flutter Web, BLoC (Business Logic Object Components), Domain Driven Design, DIO (for connection to API) and other concepts and best practices for development in Flutter were used. I developed features such as: purchasing movie tickets, completing the cart and receipt, choosing the film session, listing films in pre-sale, currently showing or films that will be released soon, among other features of the software. In addition, I also carried out reviews of Pull Requests made by the team. MyPromo - Aug/2022 - Nov/2022. Developed with Angular, MyPromo is software that shows users promotions from establishments in their region. My contribution to MyPromo was smaller than to Cinemark, being focused more on some bug resolutions, study of the technology and paradigms used in the project. Tokenlab Website - Nov/2022 - February/2023. The Tokenlab website is a Landing Page developed with Angular, where I developed changes to the layout, changing components, redesigning the page and also translating it into English. Skills developed: Proficiency in Flutter and Angular, improvement of skills in Node, BLoC, Git, Reactive Programming, RxJS, Domain Driven Design, SCSS and improvement of English.
